Telework Exchange Highlights
Webcast: The View from the Top: An Established Telework Program
Organizations can continually encourage telework adoption and operational security, as well as management buy-in, by learning from successfully established telework programs. On October 14, Telework Exchange and Cisco, Cisco/WebEx hosted a Webcast entitled The View from the Top: An Established Telework Program, including insights from telework professionals with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Danette Campbell, a senior telework advisor with USPTO, and DISA's Aaron Glover, special assistant to the director of manpower, personnel, and security, discussed proven best practices, including the importance of considering organizational cultures in telework programs and how to reliably measure telework ROI. Dave Rubal, regional manager, unified communications, Cisco Federal, reviewed telework technology designed specifically for government implementation.
