"Best Places to Work Snapshot: Telework Choices Enhances Employee Satisfaction"- As part of the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government analysis, based on the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) employee survey, the Partnership for Public Service and Deloitte set out to understand the relationship between telework, job satisfaction and commitment.

"2010 Status of Telework in the Federal Government"- This report, released by the Office of Personnel Management, provides a detailed look at telework activity. It gives an update on agency telework participation rates and offers a comprehensive analysis of developments and trends in Federal telework.

"Participate in this Study: “I’m working here!” Linking teleworkers’ boundary management strategies to work-life balance, role identity, and stress"- The purpose of this research study is to identify how people manage their home and work demands, and how telework (working from home or another location other than the traditional office) affects this process and other outcomes.

"From Bill to Building"- On December 9, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law H.R. 1722, The Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 – now Public Law 111-292. The bill requires Federal agencies to establish telework policies for eligible employees. Many agencies have already taken significant telework steps, and can offer advice. Telework Exchange executed an online survey as well as conducted a crowdsourcing session in November 2010 to identify key challenges to date and capture lessons learned. These findings will offer a roadmap for Federal agencies launching and/or enhancing telework programs in 2011.
